Cohill's Inn of Lubec Maine - Voted Best Seaside Pub in Maine by Yankee Magazine

I was pleased to read in Yankee Magazine this month that Cohill’s of Lubec Maine was given an "Editor's Choice" award for "Best Seaside Pub."  I am a huge fan of Cohill's and, as mentioned in a previous blog post, think it has one of the best dining views in Maine.   The restaurant sits on the tip of Lubec's Main Street and has large windows offering panoramic views of the bay. The corner table especially offers a sweeping view of Lubec harbor.

The corner table at Cohill's is the site where my future husband and I had our first Downeast Maine 'date.'  Several summers later, Anthony and I sat at that same table, sharing beers and planning our wedding ceremony with our local priest, Father Gene.

Cohill's serves a limited but delicious menu, including great steaks and a good selection of beers, wines and mixed drinks. There is a deck for the rare days when Downeast Maine is warm enough for alfresco dining and live music from time to time.
