LA's most unique lobster dishes

There was a great article in yesterday's LA Confidential highlighting LA's 7 Most Decadent Lobster Dishes.
While a few of the dishes were quite familiar in terms of their preparation and ingredients, four of the entrees really stood out. Lobster flavored with dehydrated peach? Lobster with bean dust?  Lobster served with cilantro-flavored rice?  Unconventional and, I imagine, equally delicious.

The first dish on the list which caught my eye is Rivabella’s poached lobster, which is flavored with dehydrated peach, housemade ricotta, and candied cashews.

Wolfgang Puck’s wild live Maine lobster is also noteworthy. Comprised of fried garlic, scallions, black bean dust, and spicy Szechuan chilies, this dish is a flavor explosion.

Chef David Myers' is serving up what is possibly the most unique spin on the lobster roll to date - green curry, Thai basil, and juicy chunks of lobster all tucked into a charcoal bun.

Finally, at Red O on Melrose, diners can experience a Mexican twist on Maine lobster tail.  It comes marinated with garlic and accented with charred Mexican knob onions and slow-roasted baby fennel, then set atop a pillowy mound of green cilantro-flavored rice. I am a fan of the lobster taco and this dish sounds equally exquisite.
