Best Lobster Shacks & Rolls in Maine: 14. Cod End

Update: Sadly Cod End has now closed.

Cod End, Tenants Harbor, Maine. Nestled in Tenants Harbor fishing village, Cod End is comprised of a fish market and an adjacent cook shack, all housed in a rough-hewn, wide-planked harborside building.  Dining options include sitting on the deck while taking in the wonderful views of the harbor, sitting inside or getting everything packed up to go.  On the menu is fish chowder, fried seafood baskets, fresh coleslaw plus lobster shack classics, including fresh lobster dinners, shore dinners, lobster stew, and lobster rolls.  The lobster roll is served with a generous portion of lobster meat, lightly dressed in mayo, stuffed into a toasted split-top bun.  Any of the fresh seafood that you see in the market can be cooked for you any way you would like.
